Event introduction

To enhance public awareness of the importance of proper building management and to promote good practices of building management in Hong Kong, the Water Supplies Department, the Buildings Department, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, the Fire Services Department, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, and the Home Affairs Department will jointly organise the Building Management Week 2017, which is a 4-day mega event running from 21 to 24 September 2017. With the aim of further advocating a quality building management culture in Hong Kong, a"Quality Management 。Caring Buildings" Property Management Competition will be organised from May to August 2017 to give recognition to building managers with outstanding performance and to encourage them to implement effective building management systems.

Building Management Week 2017 features diversified and enriching activities including Opening Ceremony, Workshops, Symposium, Carnival, Competition and Award Presentation Ceremony. Practitioners in the building management industry and members of the public are welcome to join the activities.
